Medicine), dissertation entitled:
- ''Can acupuncture help sufferers of stress (including adrenal fatigue) ?''
- Elected representative for student body on various boards and committees at Northern College of Acupuncture (throughout 4 year course)
- Became interested in acupuncture in 1996 - following four treatments (for work-related stress) found that the original symptoms of stress had completely gone, and the lifestyle advice was very relevant and helpful
- Previous role: twenty years management, sales & project experience in Information Technology industry ('IT')
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree (BSc - Hons.) in Physics (with Electronics) - graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic in 1988
- Born and grew up in the North East of England (Middlesbrough), and live in Saltburn-by-the-Sea
- Interests: further study/learning, cycling, swimming, golf, sports science, yoga, nutrition and general fitness
